If you work at one of Elon Musk's companies there's no time for slacking, work goes on holiday or no holiday. Musk wishes everyone a happy new year with a photo of the Falcon 9 rocket from SpaceX that was launched on December 21st. This Falcon 9 is the first rocket ever to deliver a commercial payload into orbit and land back on the Earth.

The rocket has been inspected in the hangar at Cape Canaveral, SpaceX says there's no damage found and claims the rocket is ready to fire again. This does not mean the rocket will ever be fired again, it will likely end up in a museum.

It's still a bit early to proclaim victory, but if SpaceX can perfect its reusable rocket technology it could revolutionize the space industry thanks to massive cost savings.
