It's been awfully quiet about AMD's next gaming GPU platforms. We know Vega will be succeeded by Navi, but we have no idea what the company has in the pipeline for 2018. TweakTown claims they heard from anonymous industry insiders that AMD is developing a Radeon RX 500X refresh.

Take it with a grain of salt, but if the rumor is accurate, this will be a minor refresh of the current Radeon RX 500 series. You can reportedly expect very minor performance boosts, in the 5-6 percent range.

The rumored launch date is the June/July timeframe. And with the way cryptocurrency prices are trending right now, there's even a possibility that gamers may be able to pick up cards at more normal prices!
