Microsoft released version 89.0.731.0 of Edge to the Dev channel. The list of changes is described over at Microsoft's Edge Insider community. This is the last scheduled release for 2020.

Developer Josh Bodner announces native support for Apple's M1 SoC is coming soon. Canary builds for the M1 processor are expected later this week. The Canary channel gets all the newest Edge releases as soon as they are built. So as noted above, stable versions of Edge with M1 support aren't expected until January at the earliest
First, for Canary users on Mac who have been wondering when we’re going to have support for Apple’s new ARM chips, the answer is soon! We’re planning on starting support in Canary builds later this week, so look for the new builds to become available at https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/download.
