Soon there will be a lot more high-end fanless motherboards for the AMD platform. WCCF Tech has exclusive news about MSI's upcoming X570S series. This is an upcoming revision from AMD that is more energy-efficient, allowing motherboard makers to use the chipset without a fan. There are already fanless X570 motherboards, but these have quite beefy and expensive heatsinks. With the optimized X570S, this will no longer be necessary.

WCCF Tech has a teaser photo of the MSI MPG X570S Gaming Carbon Max WiF and received word that MSI is prepping a total of eight X570S motherboards. The new X570S Carbon has an aluminium heatsink, larger M.2 heatsinks, and more SATA ports than the original. Here's the list of all eight upcoming MSI boards:
  • MEG X570S ACE MAX
  • MEG X570S UNIFY-X MAX
  • MPG X570S GAMING CARBON MAX WIFI
  • MPG X570S GAMING EDGE MAX WIFI
  • MAG X570S TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
  • MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX
  • X570S PRO-MAX WIFI
  • X570S-A PRO MAX
X570S Carbon

It's unknown when the new variants will hit the market but it does lend credence to rumors that a Ryzen 5000 series refresh is coming later this year.
