"AMD's Ryzen 9000 series processors have launched recently and that means we have a whole slew of new AMD motherboards. The cool thing is all of these boards feature AMD's AM5 socket so if the new 9000 series processors are not your thing, you can still slot in a Ryzen 7000 series chip if you want. For the new chipsets we have X870E and X870. The real difference between these two is that X870E features two Promontory 21 chips which are going to give you more PCIe lanes. This is what makes X870E-based motherboards more expensive than X870. X870 boards are no slouch though, they are still going to have features like PCIe 5.0 for graphics and storage, USB 4, and lots of M.2 slots. Honestly for most people an X870 motherboard will be more than enough and they can take that savings and put it towards a better graphics card or faster storage. Today we are taking a look at the Gigabyte X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7 Motherboard. Being in the AORUS line it sits in the middle of Gigabyte's product stack. With this board you are going to get a digital twin 16+2+2 phase VRM solution, support for DDR5, WiFi 7, four M.2 slots, dual USB4 ports, as well as ease-of-use things like Gigabyte's EZ-Latch Plus and EZ-Latch Click. Read on as we take a look at this board!"
